The excitement is building, your fiancé has popped the question and you have said yes (or vice versa)! Celebrations have been had with friends and family and now it’s trying to get cracking on wedmin (wedding administration) to muster up your dream day. Of course deciding on a dream venue comes to mind, and that’s where Amelia Rose is here to help! We have hand picked four of our favourite dreamy wedding venues which better yet are taking bookings from September 2020 onwards post wedding lockdown! Better yet worry no more about bridesmaids or dress codes as we’ve paired each venue with a stunning Amelia Rose dress. Wedding planning just became easy (can worry about distant relatives at a later date)

1. Samlesbury Hall

Buried in the heart of Lancashire countryside is the idyllic Samlesbury Hall. Bursting with charm and Tudor elegance you can have this  venue all to yourself from mid afternoon until the early hours of the next morning. A perfect all year round venue as in Summer they adorn the front yard with fairylights and light cosy fires in the Winter. They also include a photographer with your booking so that’s another task ticked off the wedmin list. We have chosen our Hadriana blush sleeveless embellished Midi dress as the perfect pairing as the blush contrasts with the black and white and the embellishments will sparkle in the light.

Just a 15 minute drive away from Harrogate and half an hour north of Leeds is the traditional yet modern Rudding Park Hotel and Spa. The house and grounds are vast therefore a range of wedding styles and sizes are on offer depending on you and your individual wedding aspirations. What got our excitement bubbling is an exclusive ‘love island’. Newly married couples can take a rowing boat to a private island on the grounds lake and enjoy their first moments together in peace and tranquillity. Furthermore the lavish rooftop spa is available to all wedding guests which can include treatment. What could be better than being pampered and prepped for your magical day? We’ve paired this venue with our sleek yet modern Hadiya tiered ombre sequin maxi for a burst of silver shimmer to complete your day.

3. Highclere Castle

You might recognise this stunning building as Mary Crawley’s Yorkshire domain Downton Abbey. You would be right in identifying Downton Abbey however sadly Downton Abbey isn’t real, but Highclere Castle in Newham, Hampshire. Their wonderful wedding team aim to recreate the magic and glamour of Downton Abbey by catering to every detail for your unique decadent wedding. They offer intimate civil ceremonies for up to 40 guests and champagne receptions in the summer for up to 140 guests. The castle and gardens are exclusively yours for the special day and the property boats stunning country views. A wedding to make Mary Crawley jealous! We’ve paired our Kaliyah cap sleeve maxi dress for timeless glamour and grace.

4. Chatsworth House

How could we write a blog post about romantic wedding venues without concluding with the iconic Chatsworth House nestled within the hills of the Peak District? Float around this venue like Keira Knightley in Pride and Prejudice as this was the filming location for Mr Darcy’s grand estate Pemberley. While they can’t guarantee an appearance from Colin Firth or David Matthew McFayden, they offer a range of wedding options from a smaller wedding in the stables to a civil ceremony within the house itself. They also offer a midsummer dream package which offers an all inclusive ceremony and reception for 70 guests alongside a winter package offer. We’ve paired our Hydeia long sleeve blush maxi dress with this venue for a long elegant silhouette, fit for a lady of the estate.
